The Avenue of Art is a free self-guided walking tour open 24/7 of curated hand-painted sidewalks in downtown Sarasota. The artwork celebrates Sarasota County Centennial. Orange Avenue (intersection of S. Orange and Laurel Street) and continues for 4 blocks.

Some of the circus world’s most exciting acts have signed on for the annual show – a longtime partnership of the Circus Arts Academy and The Ringling – with performances presented over nine weeks this summer. The lineup for the Summer Circus Spectacular includes a wide range of acts, including duo lyra, adagio, hand balancing/contortion, rolla bolla, and more. Fresh off their national tour, Not Fade Away has performed to sold out theatres in over 150 cities. Now, the four-piece band brings the best of the ‘50s and ‘60s to Sarasota with such hits as “It’s So Easy,” “Rave On,” “Johnny B. Goode,” and more. Overcome obstacles, defeat monsters, and discover long forgotten treasures. Dungeons & Dragons has helped hone critical and creative thinking for over 50 years.   This program is open to both teens and adultsâ��ages 14 and upâ��and is rated PG-13 for fantasy themes. The game will require the use of Zoom and the Roll20.net gaming platform. Roll20 is an online service that allows user to connect and play online through a virtual tabletop; no pen, paper or dice required.  The Zoom Meeting ID and Passcode will be included in the registration confirmation emails. Circus Campers learn a variety of circus arts including: triple and single trapeze, globes, silks, rola bola, hula hoop, low wire, clowning, flying trapeze, juggling, and much more! Sign up your child(ren) for a truly unique experience. Ages 6-15 Years OldCampers must be at least six years old and have completed kindergarten (Spring 2022) before attending Circus Camp. There are no exceptions and accommodations cannot be made for age/grade level or siblings. “2022 Hermitage STARs,” Friday, July 15 @ 2:00pm: Five of Florida’s best and brightest arts educators are coming to the Hermitage Artist Retreat to focus on their own creative practices. Hailing from across the state, their artistic disciplines range as widely as their geographic homes, including ceramics, collage, painting, music, and dance. These five artists present a hands-on “arts buffet” with a sampling from each of their artistic practices outdoors on the Hermitage Artist Retreat’s beachfront campus, 6630 Manasota Key Road, Englewood, FL 34223.
